Our experience with our tour agent Helga of Nordic Visitor from the time of our initial booking to the end
of the trip was a pleasant and excellent one. Response was timely and comprehensive. She was proactive in customizimg our requirements to a 12-day self drive tour. We had a Citroen mid-size rental car which was comfortable and reliable. Hotels of comfort standard were generally good. All in all, I would recommend Nordic Visitor to friends and relatives. I've wanted to visit Iceland since I was a small child, to ride the incredible horses and see the gorgeous scenery. For my 70th birthday I did just as I'd dreamed. Larus and Nordic Visitor worked with us to meet our plane and settle us in Snorri's Guest House, great fun! Great staff! We joined our riding group the first week, then thanks to Larus our rental car arrived and following our exciting itinerary we toured the island the second week. We experienced wonderful hikes, incredible scenery and history and met the most wonderful people. Each night we enjoyed a spotless twin room in a hostel or farm stay, each different, friendly and very comfortable. I'd do this over again in a minute.
