Kune Falls, which are 3 tiered waterfalls having the height of 200m, can only be watched during
the season of Monsoon. These falls is found in the region of Lonavala-Khandala in the state of Maharashtra, which is enriched with many charming waterfalls during Monsoon. Lonavala-Khandala, the twin hill stations in Maharashtra are the most visited hill stations near Mumbai and Pune. In the very middle of Lonavla-Khandala valley, a milky gush of water can be sighted which has a total height of 659 ft. This waterfall called Kune falls is a three tiered cascade which can be seen when we travel from Mumbai to Pune while coming out of the last tunnel. This is on the old Mumbai-Pune highway and not on the Mumbai-Pune express way. It is a beautiful sight as one sees this waterfall after coming out of the last tunnel to enter lonavala while travelling from mumbai to pune.
