Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh is one of the least explored places in the Indian Himalayan
region… and Nako Lake at an elevation of 3,662 meters in the village of Nako is one such place in Himachal Pradesh that remains unfold to general tourists. It is a small lake that is surrounded by Willow and Poplar trees. Close to the Nako Lake there are four Buddhist temples and the Nako Monastery is one of the major attractions for travellers’ exploring the site. The Tashigang village, which is few miles from Nako village, is yet another least explored place in the Indian Himalayan region and houses several caves where it is believed that Guru Padmasambhava meditated and gave discourse to followers.
