Most beautiful Oregon coast

Containing a good part of the Oregon Dunes and the rocky southern coast, Coos County has as

much coastal variety as any location in Oregon. From sea stacks at Bandon to inland remnants of giant trees in the Coast Range, Coos County has much to be wild about. These are the best places to connect with nature in Oregon's most populous coastal county.
No. 1: Shore Acres, Cape Arago
Why Oregon has three state parks right next to each other just south of Coos Bay is a mystery to me. You would think they could be combined into one. I even have the perfect name: Died and Gone to Heaven State Park. Sunset Bay, Shore Acres and Cape Arago line up at the end of the Cape Arago Highway, 10 miles southwest of the city of Coos Bay and two mile from the port town of Charleston. And that's not all there is in this most beautiful part of Oregon, because Coos County also operates its own camping park nearby at Bastendorf Beach and there is the nine-hole Sunset Bay Golf Course.
