Exploring the Dynamic Duo of Caves

Both caves are placed in the same area which is overflowing with clear water and breathtaking

surroundings. Sanghyang Tikoro which means the holy throat is a deep cave with an underground river stream. It is believed to have formed by the cooling down of lava during a major eruption, while the water slowly eroded and shaped the stalactites cave. Similarly, Sanghyang Poek is also a cave just 15 minutes away from Tikoro, and a part of the area’s famed tourist spot. The landscape is slightly different as it’s diagonally shaped or slanted.
